The ESG Business -
Brand Identity & Guideline

A complete brand identity and a 78-page guideline for an ESG consultancy, built so its team could run website, social and events on their own.

the brief

The ESG Business helps companies become more responsible in how they operate, across environmental, social and governance issues. Its logo read as an app icon and showed none of its personality: serious about the subject, playful in how it talks about it. The team needed a full brand package, with the rules and assets to use it across their website, social channels and printed event material.

what I did

I designed the identity: a logo in solid and outline versions, an icon set, a six-colour palette and the typography. Then I built it into a 78-page guideline that someone outside a design team can follow. More than half of it governs brand imagery and photography, and it closes with ready-made social profiles, covers and post templates, including examples of what not to do.

the result

The ESG Business still runs the identity today. The logo and image bank are in use across its website and LinkedIn, including pages the team has published since handoff.
