Challenge

Costa Coffee required social assets to promote their limited edition Hot Cross Bun and KitKat flavoured drinks. With the Hot Cross Bun drinks given a bold, “superstar” treatment and the KitKat drinks presented in a playful, lighthearted style—all while staying true to Costa’s fun and inviting brand tone.


Solution​​
A comic book-inspired approach was adopted for the Hot Cross Bun drinks, featuring bold "boom" effects and dynamic animations to position the flavour as a standout treat. For the KitKat drinks, a game-inspired design was created, with a KitKat bunny hopping onto chocolate blocks to land on the drink, adding an interactive and joyful feel.
Both designs captured the essence of the flavours and successfully engaged Costa’s audience with playful, eye-catching visuals, ensuring the drinks stood out on social media.
